The 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024) has commenced at Daegu EXCO, establishing a new precedent in Korea's technology exhibition domain. With 463 companies and over 2,071 booths, this event stands as the largest of its kind in the nation, running from October 23 to 26. The expo, themed "Innovative Technology for a Better Future," presents advancements in future mobility, robotics, and ABB (AI, Big Data, Blockchain), drawing global giants like Tesla, Hyundai Mobis, and ABB Korea.
Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-Pyo highlighted the expo's role in showcasing advanced industries driven by innovation, envisioning FIX 2024 as a platform rivaling the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the U.S. The expo is divided into two main areas: the East Wing focuses on mobility, including electric and autonomous vehicles, while the West Wing features robotics and ABB technologies, including the Korean debut of RoMeLa's bipedal robot, ARTEMIS.
FIX 2024 also introduces the Startup Arena, connecting startups with accelerators like Samsung C-Lab, aiming to spur innovation and investment. The event's comprehensive approach, combining exhibitions, an international conference with over 80 experts, and specialized expos, positions Daegu and Korea as leaders in global technological innovation, aspiring to influence applied technologies worldwide.
