Alsco Uniforms has recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art laundry processing facility in Surrey, British Columbia, marking a significant expansion in its operational capabilities and commitment to sustainable growth. The 62,000-square-foot facility, located on 4.5 acres, is among the most advanced in North America, capable of processing over 300,000 pounds of laundry weekly for more than 1,500 customers across a 500-kilometer range.
Bob Steiner, Chief Executive Officer of Alsco Uniforms, highlighted the facility's design for future growth, ensuring the company can meet increasing customer demands. The Surrey facility not only represents a leap in operational efficiency but also contributes positively to the local community, employing over 90 full-time staff and participating in local enhancement projects such as planting 2,000 new trees and improving public spaces.
