The 'Pan-Pan Day' initiative is designed to equip startups with the tools for international success, offering IR pitching sessions, one-on-one consultations, networking, and thematic seminars. Notable outcomes from the event include a 200 million won investment deal between Platinum Technology and NexPot Solution in June, and the 'Open Innovation' themed session in August that led to 18 follow-up meetings among 16 companies, including giants like Toss and Mastercard.
With themes ranging from content to manufacturing, the upcoming sessions from September to December promise to further enrich the startup ecosystem. September's collaboration with the Gyeonggi Startup Summit will feature meetings with foreign VCs and seminars on international strategies, while a unique networking session between Estonian and Gyeonggi Province startups will offer insights into the European market.
Startups have lauded the event for its practical advice and networking opportunities, even in the absence of immediate funding. Pangyo Techno Valley, home to 1,666 companies and employing 78,751 people, underscores its commitment to innovation and global market integration.
