Starting April 2025, American Art Collector and Western Art Collector magazines will be available at newsstands within private jet terminals across the United States, thanks to a new partnership with Media Jet. This initiative aims to deliver curated art content directly to high-end travelers, including art collectors and enthusiasts, in major private jet hubs such as Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Scottsdale, and San Francisco.
The collaboration is expected to reach approximately 400,000 passengers annually, offering them access to specialized art magazines known for their previews of art shows and insights into both emerging and established artists. Published by International Artist Publishing, these magazines have been a trusted resource for art collectors since 2005.
Publishers Wendie Martin and Adolfo Castillo highlighted the partnership's broader significance, noting its potential to connect exceptional art with collectors in unique, high-traffic luxury environments. Beyond expanding their audience, this move underscores the magazines' commitment to fostering connections within the art community.
While embracing this innovative distribution channel, American Art Collector and Western Art Collector will continue their existing distribution through paid subscriptions, bookstore newsstands, and presence at over 80 major art events nationwide. This strategic expansion reflects a growing trend of targeting niche audiences in premium settings, potentially setting a precedent for how art publications engage with affluent demographics.
