The Carlsbad Department of Development (CDOD) hosted its 2025 Annual Dinner, themed 'Thrive', bringing together New Mexico Cabinet Secretaries Rob Black and Melanie A. Kenderdine with the Carlsbad business community to celebrate significant economic milestones and honor the enduring contributions of local industries. The event underscored the region's resilience and innovative legacy, with special recognitions for businesses that have reached 100-year milestones in Eddy County.
Intrepid Potash and Mosaic were celebrated for a century of potash production, a sector critical to agricultural and industrial stability nationwide. Dunagan Associates and CENTURY 21 Dunagan Associates were also honored for 100 years of service in the real estate industry. The introduction of the CDOD's new 2025-2026 Executive Board Officers highlighted the organization's ongoing commitment to leadership and community development.
