Manduka has unveiled the Dhara collection, a new line of yoga apparel for women that combines environmental sustainability with high performance. This collection, made from 88% recycled materials and free from harmful chemicals, represents Manduka's commitment to setting new sustainability standards in the activewear industry by 2025.
The Dhara collection includes five essential pieces: the Dhara Bra, Dhara Capri Legging, Dhara Tank, and Dhara Legging, each designed to support the yoga practice without compromising on comfort or style. Named after the word for earth, the collection reflects Manduka's focus on recycled materials and environmental consciousness, available in colors like Avian Heather and Midnight Heather, priced between $58 and $90.
Pamela Levine, CEO of Manduka, highlights the collection as part of the company's broader initiative to integrate sustainability with performance. This launch not only meets the growing consumer demand for eco-friendly products but also sets a precedent for the industry, encouraging a shift towards more sustainable manufacturing practices.
As Manduka progresses towards its 2025 sustainability goals, the Dhara collection serves as a pivotal step in the company's journey. By prioritizing renewed materials and waste reduction, Manduka is reinforcing its position as a leader in responsible manufacturing within the wellness sector, offering consumers a way to align their activewear choices with their environmental values.
