Online shopping dominates Gen Z's holiday purchases, favored for its convenience and the ability to compare prices. Mobile devices are particularly pivotal, with many opting for apps or mobile-optimized websites. Social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest significantly influence purchasing decisions, though 71% of respondents criticize the commercialization of Christmas on these platforms for fostering unrealistic expectations.
