The FinServ Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing talent in the financial services industry, has announced the addition of Bonnie M. Treichel, JD, and Dr. David Rhoiney to its board of directors. This strategic move is set to bolster the foundation's mission of fostering diversity and inclusion within the sector, while also addressing critical issues such as the wealth gap.
Bonnie Treichel, recognized as one of the brightest minds in financial services, brings her expertise as an ERISA attorney and advisor to the foundation. Dr. Rhoiney's diverse background, from his service in the United States Navy to his work in cybersecurity and robotic surgery, adds a unique perspective to the board. His personal journey from poverty to professional success aligns with the foundation's goals of removing barriers to success for underrepresented individuals.
The foundation's initiatives, including coaching, mentorship, and scholarships, have already made a significant impact, collaborating with over 30 educational institutions and supporting more than 500 FinServ Fellows.
