Panasonic Connect North America has recently announced a comprehensive suite of new solutions designed to revolutionize the way content creators capture, produce, and deliver dynamic content across a wide range of production environments. This announcement marks a significant step forward in the integration of technology and creativity, offering tools that cater to both current needs and future advancements in the industry.
At the heart of this announcement is the AT-KC200L1 KAIROS Core 200 main frame, a solution tailored for SDI-centric workflows. This innovative product is set to serve a variety of settings, including entertainment venues, rental and staging, corporate environments, and broadcast. Notably, the AT-KC200L1 not only supports existing SDI workflows but also lays the groundwork for a seamless transition to IP-based production in the near future, with expansion capabilities expected by Q2 2024.
The KAIROS ecosystem has seen substantial growth with the inclusion of new partners and suppliers to the KAIROS Alliance Partners program. With over 50 partner companies now part of the program, recent additions such as Drastic Technologies, LAWO, NETGEAR, and Singular.live bring pre-tested products that ensure smooth integration with the KAIROS platform, enhancing its versatility and application across different production needs.
For corporate and higher education settings, Panasonic Connect has introduced the AW-UE30 PTZ Camera. This camera is engineered to elevate video streaming quality with 4K/30p images and a 20x optical zoom, offering remote participants an immersive viewing experience. Its compact and quiet design further ensures that it complements the in-person experience without disruption.
Complementing these hardware innovations is the Media Production Suite software platform, which simplifies camera management for small team operations. This platform not only streamlines camera setup but also offers a suite of features to support high-quality video production, including auto-tracking and the ability to control multiple live cameras via a single server, thereby reducing operational costs.
Additionally, the AV-SF10 Software Control Panel for the AV-HSW10 Main Switcher introduces a new level of efficiency, allowing networked PCs or tablets to control switcher functions. This feature facilitates efficient pre-shoot preparation and on-shoot review, further enhancing the production process.
These groundbreaking solutions, alongside Panasonic's existing range of PTZ cameras, studio cameras, switchers, and projection/display technology, will be on display at the upcoming NAB Show 2024 from April 14-17 at Booth C3310. This showcase represents a pivotal moment for professionals in the business and technology sectors, offering a glimpse into the future of content creation and production technology.
