Green Lantern Solar, a leader in renewable energy development, has announced a significant leadership transition with the promotion of Alan Pratt to Vice President of Operations. Pratt, who has served as the company's Director of Operations for ten years, is recognized for his exceptional leadership and commitment to advancing Green Lantern Solar's mission. His promotion is a strategic move to bolster the company's Engineering Team and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) division, ensuring continued excellence and innovation in the renewable energy sector.
Scott Buckley, President of Green Lantern Solar, praised Pratt's contributions and leadership, expressing confidence in his ability to drive the company's strategic objectives forward. 'Alan's deep-rooted dedication and exemplary leadership have been pivotal to our organization's progress. We are excited to see how his vision and expertise will further enhance our Engineering and O&M departments,' Buckley remarked.
The transition also marks the retirement of Peter Edlund, a key figure in Green Lantern Solar's journey over the past decade. His efforts earned Green Lantern Solar prestigious industry recognition, such as the 2023 Solar Builder Community Solar Project of the Year.
Buckley acknowledged Edlund's profound impact on the company, stating, 'Peter's retirement is a milestone for Green Lantern Solar. His expertise and dedication have shaped our growth and success. We are deeply grateful for his contributions and wish him all the best in his retirement.' This leadership change underscores Green Lantern Solar's commitment to sustaining its momentum in the renewable energy industry, leveraging Pratt's leadership to navigate future challenges and opportunities.
