Office Evolution is expanding its Jacksonville-Town Center location, adding nearly 3,000 square feet to accommodate growing demand from professionals seeking flexible workspace solutions. The expansion at 5011 Gate Parkway represents the second growth initiative in four years under franchise owner Michael Wielgus, who also operates two other Office Evolution locations on the First Coast.
The expansion responds directly to increasing demand from professionals who prefer working near their residences to minimize commuting time while maintaining professional office environments. This trend reflects a broader shift toward more cost-effective business operations through turnkey, on-demand workspace solutions. Scheduled for completion in early 2026, the expansion will increase the Town Center location from 10,562 to 13,549 square feet, adding 14 individual and team offices. Upon completion, the facility will feature 56 offices, three conference rooms, two private phone booths, a coworking lounge, two community kitchens, and a mail center. Technology upgrades include a private VLAN, dedicated fiber internet circuit with commercial-grade ethernet/WiFi, and an Atlas Sound Masking System for enhanced noise reduction and voice privacy. Members will maintain 24/7 secure access via entry fob systems.
Wielgus and his wife Kelly originally opened the Town Center location in April 2018 and completed their first expansion in 2021 to address high demand. Their portfolio has grown to include Jacksonville-Bartram in 2020 and Jacksonville-Brooklyn/Riverside in 2023. Collectively, these three locations support over 800 small businesses, solopreneurs, and enterprise companies, representing more than 1,300 members across diverse industries including transportation/logistics, financial services, legal services, real estate, and information technology.
