Hypersequent DMCC has announced a significant update to QA Sphere, its test management system, designed to address challenges faced by quality assurance teams as development cycles accelerate. The Dubai-based company's release focuses on improving daily workflows, strengthening integration with Jira, and making artificial intelligence-assisted test creation more practical for real-world projects.
The update introduces a wide-screen optimized interface featuring a three-panel layout for folders, test cases, and previews, enabling more efficient work on large monitors. For teams leveraging artificial intelligence, bulk test case creation is now more accessible from the main Create button, with keyboard shortcuts available for frequent users. When using Bulk Write with AI, teams can paste Jira links directly into the Functional Requirements field; QA Sphere automatically retrieves issue text when Jira is connected, ensuring generated tests accurately reflect actual project requirements.
Sharing test cases has been simplified with a new Copy Links option that exports selected cases as clean Markdown or rich-text lists for use in platforms like Jira, Confluence, Slack, or email. Existing test cases can now be converted into parameterized templates with one click, helping teams standardize recurring testing flows. The import experience has also been refined with clearer dialog design and guidance for teams with complex migration needs.
For organizations deeply integrated with Jira, the update enhances linking capabilities when creating requirements. Users can search Jira issues by title or ID, select the correct one, and have the title added automatically. In test runs, the Create Jira Issue dialog now supports faster search, sorting for Epics and Parent issues, and direct input of issue keys. Additional refinements across the application improve validation, duplicate handling, and overall consistency.
QA Sphere now provides clearer warnings when templates without variables will not appear in test runs, while still allowing users to proceed. Shared steps can be edited directly from within a test case, with options to open in a new tab or refresh in place. All enhancements are available immediately for all QA Sphere users, including trial accounts. More information is available at https://qasphere.com.
Andrian Budantsov, founder of Hypersequent, emphasized the practical focus of the release, stating that most test management tools either attempt to do everything or become obstacles. This update concentrates on delivering clarity, speed, and artificial intelligence that genuinely reduces manual work rather than becoming another checkbox requirement. For business and technology leaders, these enhancements represent a strategic tool for maintaining software quality as development velocity increases, potentially reducing bottlenecks in continuous delivery pipelines and improving alignment between development and quality assurance teams.
