Hispanic Target Magazine hosted the Top Entrepreneur Awards 2025 during Art Basel Miami, aligning with the official Miami-Dade County cultural agenda through the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board (HAAB). The event honored entrepreneurs, artists, and political leaders contributing to the social, cultural, and economic development of South Florida's Hispanic community. Positioned against the international backdrop of Art Basel, the ceremony blended art, leadership, entrepreneurship, and cultural diplomacy, creating a convergence of influence and purpose.
The awards recognized individuals whose professional trajectories reflect innovation, resilience, and community commitment. Technology innovation was highlighted through the recognition of Marcos Acuña, CEO of Quick Scan & Go, for his work in technology-driven consumer solutions. This acknowledgment underscores the growing intersection of Hispanic entrepreneurship with the technology sector, particularly in consumer-facing innovations that could influence retail and service industries.
Business leadership across multiple sectors was celebrated, including Adriana Aiello Ambrugna of RealFinity for excellence in real estate and construction, and Nick Brunzell, CEO & Co-Founder of Archangel Brokers Insurance, for entrepreneurial leadership. The inclusion of Claudia Serrer, Commissioner of ProChile Miami, for economic diplomacy and international trade leadership points to the importance of global business connections for Hispanic enterprises in Florida. The event was presented in collaboration with TOP 67 Art Gallery, represented by visual artist Adriana Torres, and presented by Nancy Clara, Editorial Director of Hispanic Target Magazine.
Special recognitions extended to individuals strengthening journalism, arts, and civic responsibility, including Yvette Franco, President of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists – South Florida, and Dr. Pedro González Jr., President of the Florida Association of Hispanic Journalists (FAHJ). The artistic dimension was further emphasized through the participation of Colombian muralist Paula Sánchez Ariza, invited to paint at Art Basel Wynwood, and Venezuelan singer and writer Gioconda Salcedo, Director of Fundación Almenar Otero.
The event's partnership with the Eccehomo Guzmán Colombian Cultural & Business Center and sponsorship from organizations including Archangel Brokers Insurance, STG Mobile Detailing, and Olé Communication facilitated this celebration of Hispanic excellence. For business and technology leaders, the awards signal the expanding influence of Hispanic entrepreneurs in driving innovation and economic growth, particularly in technology, real estate, and international trade sectors. The convergence of this recognition with Art Basel Miami amplifies the cultural and economic diplomacy aspects, potentially opening new avenues for cross-sector collaboration and investment in Hispanic-led ventures.
Hispanic Target Magazine's commitment to building bridges between talent, opportunity, and visibility through such platforms highlights the strategic importance of recognizing diverse leadership in fostering regional economic development and cultural exchange.
