The acquisition of four existing flexible workspaces in the Dallas-Fort Worth market by multi-unit franchise owners Kevin and Geidre Priddy represents a strategic expansion for Venture X, a global provider of high-quality flexible workspaces. The Priddys, operating through their company Priddy Spaces, acquired the locations from Plano-based landlord Michael Comegys, who sought experienced flex workspace operators to manage the spaces. Formerly branded as CityCentral, these locations are being converted to Venture X facilities, adding to the brand's growing portfolio in one of the nation's most dynamic metropolitan areas.
Kevin Priddy explained the strategic rationale behind the expansion, noting that Dallas-Fort Worth represents a high-growth market with strong demographics. With four years of operating experience in Florida, the Priddys identified an opportunity to bring their expertise to Texas. The evolution of hybrid work and corporate real estate strategy has positioned flex office space as a valuable asset for commercial landlords, creating favorable conditions for expansion. Venture X already maintains a presence in DFW, and this acquisition strengthens the brand's local footprint while providing additional workspace solutions for businesses and professionals.
The four locations being converted include Venture X Downtown Fort Worth at 600 W. 6th St., Suite 400, Fort Worth; Venture X Plano West at 6010 W. Spring Creek, Plano; Venture X Plano East at 500 N. Central Expressway, Suite 500, Plano; and Venture X Dallas-Addison at 17250 Dallas Parkway, Dallas. These facilities range from approximately 22,530 to 40,000 square feet and offer between 74 and 103 offices each. With these additions, Venture X now operates over a dozen locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, providing flexible, sophisticated workspaces for professionals and businesses of all sizes.
Venture X operates as part of Vast Coworking Group, the largest privately owned franchisor of coworking spaces and second-largest network in North America by number of locations. Vast President Jason Anderson praised the Priddys as outstanding franchise owners who exemplify high-level operation within the system. Their disciplined growth, operational excellence, and ability to identify strong opportunities in key markets like Dallas-Fort Worth demonstrate both their leadership and the scalability of the Venture X brand. Vast Coworking Group comprises Venture X, Office Evolution, and Intelligent Office, with over 200 locations globally spanning 2.7 million square feet.
This expansion reflects broader trends in the commercial real estate and flexible workspace industries. As hybrid work models become increasingly prevalent, demand for flexible office solutions continues to grow. The Priddys' acquisition strategy demonstrates how experienced operators can capitalize on market opportunities by converting existing spaces to established brands with proven operational models. Beyond Dallas-Fort Worth, Kevin and Geidre Priddy are actively developing other Venture X and Office Evolution locations in markets including South and Central Florida and Metro Atlanta, indicating continued growth in the flexible workspace sector.
