GRE Alpha Electronics will return to Light + Building 2026, held March 8–13 at Messe Frankfurt in Germany, with its most ambitious showcase to date, featuring a full lineup of new products and live demonstrations. The company is expanding from participation within the EnOcean consortium to a dedicated booth in Hall 8.0, Booth G37, marking a significant evolution in its presence at the premier trade fair for lighting and building technology.
Richard Fong, director at GRE Alpha, stated that this year represents a turning point, allowing the company to fully showcase its innovation breadth and provide a more focused experience for partners and customers. The showcase will feature several key product developments, including live demonstrations of Lumifree, JDI's dynamic light-distribution control technology. Collaborations with Dauer and XK Glow will demonstrate Lumifree-based uplight and light systems, integrating advanced beam shaping into GRE Alpha's power solutions to redefine light experience in architectural spaces.
A new 40W RFID/NFC driver, branded and distributed by partner CDI, will be displayed alongside the LUNA light switch. This battery-less, energy-harvesting Bluetooth rocker switch enables wireless building integration without battery maintenance, exemplifying the smart and sustainable solutions GRE Alpha is promoting. Fong emphasized that this switch merges sustainability with seamless control for building management.
The company will also showcase one of the industry's widest arrays of smart control modules, featuring integrations with Casambi, EnOcean, DiiA, and Tuya, alongside products from its Japan and China-based lines. Fong noted that these collaborations make smart lighting more accessible, reflecting GRE Alpha's belief in an intelligent, interconnected lighting future. The full product catalog is available here.
This expanded presence at Light + Building 2026 signals GRE Alpha's growth and the broader industry trend toward integrated, energy-efficient lighting systems. For business and technology leaders, the innovations highlight opportunities in smart building management, reduced maintenance costs, and enhanced architectural lighting capabilities, positioning GRE Alpha as a key player in driving sustainable technological advancements in the lighting sector.
