The swissnet Group has secured a major contract to implement a comprehensive digitalization and infrastructure project for a traditional hotel on Lake Constance, marking the first deployment of all seven of the company's core solutions in a single customer project. This initiative demonstrates the scalability of swissnet's business model and its ability to meet complex requirements from a single source, with completion scheduled for March 2026.
The project provides the hotel with a state-of-the-art solution portfolio from one provider, significantly advancing its digital customer journey. The hotel is rebuilding its technical infrastructure and will receive holistic support, with perfectly coordinated systems creating a modern, secure, and future-proof overall solution. The project volume for swissnet amounts to a six-figure euro sum.
At the center of the implementation is a high-performance guest Wi-Fi network with integrated marketing functions, along with Wi-Fi telephones in all rooms to optimize internal processes and improve accessibility. The system is complemented by a modern firewall solution meeting the highest security standards and a smart door-locking system that increases both convenience and security.
One particular challenge was the region's weak broadband infrastructure, which is being reliably solved through satellite internet. This comprehensive modernization increases efficiency and ensures the highest level of service quality for guests, employees, and overall operations.
For the swissnet Group, additional growth potential in the Lake Constance region arises through the hotel's connection to a large regional hotel cooperation that organizes approximately 3,300 hotels and accommodations in the area.
