Enapter AG has expanded its Core Partner network with the addition of U.S.-based Total Hydrogen Solutions (THS), a division of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Company LLC. This partnership enables THS to develop and market electrolyzer systems under its own brand using Enapter's patented AEM stack technology, reference designs, and the AI-powered digital platform CoreKraft. The collaboration represents a strategic move to accelerate the deployment of modular, cost-efficient green hydrogen production systems across industrial and energy infrastructure projects in the Americas.
As a Core Partner, THS will integrate Enapter's AEM electrolyzer stacks—the core components for green hydrogen production—into systems sold under the THS brand. These systems will carry the "AEM powered" label, signifying the inclusion of Enapter's technology. THS also gains access to Enapter's comprehensive reference design documentation and CoreKraft, a digital platform that facilitates rapid implementation of flexible, scalable system architectures tailored to specific customer requirements. THS is already implementing projects in Canada for truck refueling using Enapter's EL4 and Flex120 electrolyzers and in Virginia for CO2/hydrogen-to-ethanol production using Flex120 units, with additional multi-megawatt projects in advanced evaluation.
The CoreKraft platform is central to this partnership, offering an intelligent energy management system that uses AI to analyze operational data and provide automated optimizations. This system enhances the efficiency and economic performance of hydrogen and energy systems by integrating devices from various manufacturers, including different electrolyzer technologies like PEM or alkaline systems, within a unified digital architecture. For example, CoreKraft allows the combination of a cost-efficient alkaline electrolyzer with a dynamically controllable AEM or PEM system, optimizing capital expenditures and enabling flexible operational strategies. This technology-neutral approach provides Core Partners like THS with faster implementation, flexible integration, and more economically attractive projects, creating a competitive advantage in industrial and energy infrastructure applications.
Dr. Jurgen Laakmann, CEO of Enapter AG, stated that THS represents a strong industrial partner for the U.S., Canadian, and South American markets, emphasizing the dual reliance on AEM stack technology and CoreKraft for scalable, technology-open solutions. Mark Mire, Owner and CEO of Total Hydrogen Solutions, highlighted the partnership's role in supporting a scalable, technology-neutral hydrogen infrastructure to meet accelerating demand for decentralized and industrial hydrogen, from single-stack units to multi-megawatt applications. THS plans to significantly expand its hydrogen activities in the coming years, targeting growth in the U.S. market for modular electrolyzer systems and positioning itself as an integrated solutions provider for industrial customers and energy projects.
For business and technology leaders, this partnership underscores the increasing importance of digital integration and flexibility in hydrogen infrastructure. By leveraging AI and hybrid system architectures, companies can reduce costs and improve scalability, making green hydrogen more accessible for diverse applications. The expansion of Enapter's Core Partner network to include THS reflects a broader trend toward collaborative, technology-agnostic approaches in the renewable energy sector, potentially accelerating the transition to sustainable energy systems worldwide.
