The swissnet Group has entered into a long-term framework agreement with fitness chain EVO Fitness, a brand of Lifestyle Clubs Concepts GmbH, to serve as its strategic rollout and network infrastructure partner. This partnership follows a structured provider selection process conducted by scoreready, a Berlin-based consulting firm specializing in smart building connectivity, which will oversee project management and coordinate all service providers involved in the implementation.
For 2026, the collaboration focuses on modernizing the IT infrastructure in EVO Fitness's 13 existing studios while supporting the opening of 10 additional clubs. The rollout of the new technical infrastructure has already commenced, with all studios receiving standardized, state-of-the-art network architecture. This includes customer Wi-Fi, enabling the operation of innovative fitness equipment, digital access controls, video surveillance, and digital signage solutions. Each site will be connected redundantly to ensure maximum reliability, with swissnet providing one internet line per studio plus an additional 5G backup solution.
A central component of the agreement is the delivery of all services as a managed service. This approach reduces initial project costs while ensuring reliable operations through centralized monitoring and continuous service support, emphasizing the long-term partnership between the companies. Further joint projects are already being planned, including a standardized, centralized video surveillance solution with enhanced analytics functionalities to optimize operations and customer experience.
EVO Fitness plans to continue its expansion in subsequent years, opening approximately 10 new studios annually at attractive locations throughout Germany. This growth strategy requires robust digital infrastructure to support scalable operations and innovative studio experiences. Felix Leupert, VP Sales DACH at swissnet Group, stated that the company is creating the digital foundation for this expansion through its technology partnership.
The swissnet Group serves customers across various sectors including retail, hospitality, healthcare, and the public sector, offering location-based marketing software, Wi-Fi infrastructure systems, and Wi-Fi guest hotspots.
