The InnoEX exhibition, jointly organized by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, opened today alongside the HKTDC's Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition). Under the theme "Innovate . Automate . Elevate," the concurrent four-day events at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre bring together global technology solutions, artificial intelligence technologies, and advanced electronic products. A series of forums, seminars, and business-matching sessions align with the National 15th Five-Year Plan and Hong Kong's innovation and technology development directions.
Jenny Koo, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, stated that the fairs highlight Hong Kong's international and innovation strengths, fostering cross-regional and cross-industry collaboration. This year's events feature over 2,800 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, with AI+ driven innovations and robotics as major highlights. The newly launched "RoboPark" spans both fairs, showcasing over 100 robots from companies including four of the world's top five best-selling humanoid robot manufacturers: AgiBot, Unitree, UBTECH, and EngineAI. Additional exhibitors include AI2 Robotics, LimX Dynamics, PaXini, and Digit Robotics.
Unitree is presenting the first launch outside the Chinese Mainland of its next-generation quadruped robot dog, Unitree A2, capable of running at up to 5 m/s and equipped with ultra-wide-angle LiDAR for real-time 3D perception. Hong Kong-based RiceRobotics presents autonomous robots for delivery, cleaning, and security operations, widely adopted by Japanese enterprises like SoftBank and 7-Eleven Japan. International exhibitors from the United Kingdom, Israel, the Philippines, and Singapore also participate, with around 40 events in the zone including application sharing sessions and live demonstrations.
This year's InnoEX features over 550 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, with first-time participation from Austria, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, the Philippines, and the United States. The Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Dr. Gerd Müller, is leading a delegation, underscoring Hong Kong's role in global I&T collaboration. The exhibition focuses on five key areas: AI+, Robotics, Low-altitude Economy, PropTech, and RetailTech.
In AI+, the Digital Policy Office presents the "Smart Hong Kong Pavilion" featuring innovative solutions from over 20 government departments. First-time exhibitor Tencent Cloud showcases AI solutions including SuperApp and PalmAI. In robotics, Wildfaces, Lenovo, and Intel jointly present a patented real-time AI fault detection system using drones for hazardous environments. For the low-altitude economy, China Mobile Hong Kong presents a drone traffic management system and 5G+ satellite connectivity. InnoEX will co-organize the LAE Development Conference on April 15 with the Working Group on Developing Low-altitude Economy, featuring speakers including Bakhtiyar Mukhametkaliyev, Vice Minister of the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.
The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) brings together exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, with Australia, France, Macao, and Thailand participating for the first time. The fair presents technologies across Smart Home & Solutions, Health Tech & Gadgets, and Pet Intelligence, with around 60 products launched for the first time. These include the "BG120 Smart Sports Glasses" by Infinite Import & Export and the "Great Wall Dragon Armor" Mini PC series by Hunan Greatwall Computer System Co., Ltd.
In smart home solutions, Dongguan Tianluo Electronics Technology presents a Smart Wireless Video Door Phone with a wireless design enabling longer transmission distances. For health tech, Zhongyuan Innovation (HK) Limited presents an AI Smart Elderly Care Kit with devices that monitor vital signs and detect abnormalities.
