Stewart Heating, Plumbing & Air Conditioning, a Lafayette-based contractor, has made an in-kind donation to Hugs for Harry Dog Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that rescues and rehabilitates dogs across the Bay Area. The company donated and installed a 40-gallon electric water heater at the rescue's facility, addressing critical infrastructure needs that will enhance animal care operations.
The water heater will supply hot water to a new in-house laundry facility and a dog washing station, both essential for maintaining sanitation, cleanliness, and proper grooming for the dogs. Hugs for Harry relocated to a new Lafayette location in January 2026.
