BreastHab Rebrands as Thera Rehab in Midtown Manhattan, Expanding Clinical Identity

Thera Rehab Physical and Occupational Therapy, formerly known as BreastHab, has officially launched its new brand identity in Midtown Manhattan. The private practice, located at 115 West 30th Street, Room 502B, New York, NY 10001, will continue to serve patients from New York City and the Tri-State Area with the same clinical team and one-to-one session model that defined its predecessor.

The rebranding does not involve any change in ownership, services, or clinical approach. According to the practice, the decision to retire the BreastHab name was driven by the need to more accurately represent the full range of conditions treated at the clinic. While breast cancer rehabilitation remains a core focus, the clinic also provides lymphedema therapy for patients recovering from other oncological surgeries, cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, and vascular insufficiency, among other conditions. The name Thera Rehab is intended to reflect this broader therapeutic scope without diluting the specialized nature of the care.

“The rebrand allows us to more accurately represent the full range of care we provide — from breast cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema therapy to cosmetic surgery recovery and mastitis treatment — while keeping our Midtown Manhattan location as the anchor for patients across the region,” said Sabrina Rana Vaishnavi, MPT CLT, Co-Founder of Thera Rehab. “Every session remains one-to-one with a licensed therapist who brings specialized, hands-on expertise to each unique recovery journey.”

The practice draws patients from all five New York City boroughs as well as New Jersey and Connecticut, thanks to its proximity to Penn Station and major oncology centers, plastic surgery practices, and hospital systems. Services offered under the new name include breast cancer rehabilitation (including pre-hab and post-surgical scar tissue mobilization), lymphedema therapy using Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and manual lymphatic drainage, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery recovery (including DIEP flap reconstruction, liposuction, abdominoplasty, body lifts, breast augmentation, mommy makeovers, and breast reductions), axillary web syndrome treatment, mastitis and clogged milk duct treatment, scar management, and lymphatic care for vascular insufficiency.

All sessions remain one-to-one, with each patient working directly and exclusively with their assigned therapist. The clinical team includes Certified Lymphedema Therapists (CLTs) and Certified Cosmetic Surgery Therapists (CCSTs) with advanced training in oncology rehabilitation and manual therapy. Thera Rehab is open Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm, and accepts a range of insurance providers for covered conditions such as lymphedema management.

Patients who previously received care under the BreastHab name are being notified directly. All medical records, treatment plans, and clinical relationships remain unchanged. The rebranding applies only to the clinic’s name, digital presence, and patient-facing materials. For more information, visit thera-rehab.com.

Thera Rehab is a proud sponsor of the 2025 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and a member of the National Lymphedema Network.
