Canadian Salsa Festivals Project Announces Expanded 2026 Season with New Niagara Falls Event

The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its most extensive season to date, running from June through September 2026, with a slate of festivals and programs across Ontario and Quebec. For the first time, the series will expand to Niagara Falls with the inaugural Salsa at Niagara Falls on September 12 and 13, in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort.

Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, expressed enthusiasm for the new event: "Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for, it’s a perfect addition to our September calendar for the next several years. We’re delighted to welcome this celebration of Latin music, dance, and food for the first time, and we know its energy will ripple through our community and activate Niagara Falls collectively."

Longstanding festival sponsor TD Bank Group has expanded its support, becoming title sponsor of Salsa Tremblant in Quebec’s Laurentians region, while renewing as title sponsor of Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Robyn Small, Senior Manager, Philanthropy, Corporate Citizenship at TD Bank Group, stated, "Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art. We’re proud to support access to cultural experiences that help people feel welcome, seen and connected."

TLN Media Group, founder and longstanding official media partner of Salsa in Toronto, has championed the festival’s growth from a local street celebration into a nationally recognized, year-round cultural platform. Aldo Di Felice, President & Managing Partner of TLN Media Group, noted, "Salsa in Toronto has become one of Canada’s premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year while showcasing the power of music, culture, and community to create meaningful social and economic impact across Ontario and beyond."

The 2026 season includes returning festivals: TD Salsa at Blue Mountain (June 26–28), which kicks off the summer festival season at Blue Mountain Village; TD Salsa on St. Clair (July 11–12), Canada’s largest Latin-themed free street festival featuring over 350 live performers, weekend headliners including JUNO nominee Andy Rubal and award-winning Latin/tropical artist Yani Borrell, the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada, over 35 authentic Latin food vendors, and 25+ dance instructors; and TD Salsa Tremblant (August 21–23), returning for its third year with live performances and dance throughout the Tremblant Pedestrian Village.

Nicolas Dien, Event Director of Tremblant Resort Association, said, "We are very proud to be hosting Salsa Tremblant for a third consecutive year. This event perfectly embodies Tremblant’s DNA — a vibrant, welcoming destination where music, dance, and nature come together."

Returning festival programs include the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition (June 6 – July 12) at Toronto’s Little EGG Gallery, featuring emerging Latino artists under 18; free dance lessons (May – August) across Southern Ontario; Salsa on Market Street (August 9) in Toronto’s historic Old Town; and family salsa dance lessons at Toronto museums (August – October).

The expansion into Niagara Falls is expected to drive significant tourism and economic impact for the region, while the continued growth of the festival series underscores the increasing demand for Latin cultural experiences in Canada. For business leaders, these events represent opportunities for sponsorship, community engagement, and tapping into diverse audiences.
