Capriotti's Sandwich Shop will reopen its Colorado Springs location at 5856 Barnes Rd. on September 15 under new corporate ownership, the company announced. The 1,433-square-foot restaurant had previously operated as a franchise but will now be directly managed by the corporate team. This move marks the first step in a broader brand revitalization in the area, with the Cheyenne Road location also slated for a similar transition.
The reopening brings back fan favorites such as The Bobbie®, which was voted "Greatest Sandwich in America," and the award-winning cheesesteaks. The full menu will feature premium ingredients, including slow-roasted, hand-pulled Butterball® turkey and ultra-premium American Wagyu from Snake River Farms®. Additionally, the new Cooper Sharp® Cheesesteak will be available for a limited time.
