Debt.com is set to announce the winner of the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator category at the 2026 FinTalk Awards, an honor that underscores the growing role of digital creators in delivering financial education to the U.S. Hispanic community. The award recognizes a creator who, through educational, practical, and accessible content, has made an outstanding contribution over the past year to helping Hispanics better understand saving, investing, debt management, and financial planning. Public voting remains open through October 9, and participants may cast up to three votes per day to support their favorite creators.

The five nominees for the 2026 award are María Mercedes Velasquez (@soymmvelasquez), a certified public accountant with a master’s degree in finance who focuses on helping women over 40 take control of their money; Daniela Salazar (@neurodany), known as NeuroDany, author of two books about money and personal growth who educates on investing, trading, and personal finance; Alex / MoneyAcción (@moneyaccion), creator of the financial education platform MoneyAcción, who uses a simple and humorous approach to explain saving, investing, and debt management; Elizabeth Inciarte (@mamaperonoaburrida), a mother and content creator who aims to show that you don’t need to be a millionaire to start investing; and Xavier Serbia (@xavierserbia), a communicator with more than two decades of experience covering economic and financial topics, recognized for explaining complex concepts in a clear, practical, and accessible way.

Debt.com created the FinTalk Awards to recognize creators and institutions that are transforming the way people learn about and manage their finances. The Spanish-language category focuses specifically on a community for which access to clear, relevant, and culturally accessible financial information can play an important role in making better financial decisions. “For millions of Hispanics in the United States, having access to clear and trustworthy financial education in Spanish can make a real difference in how they manage their money and build their financial future. We are excited to see a new generation of creators using digital platforms to break down barriers, simplify complex topics, and empower our community to make better financial decisions,” said Don Silvestri, President of Debt.com.

The FinTalk Awards have previously recognized prominent Hispanic financial educators. Rey Martínez was named Best Hispanic Creator in 2025, while Juan Sánchez received the honor in 2024. Voting closes on October 9, 2026, when Debt.com will announce the winner. Consumers can still learn more about the five nominees and cast their votes by visiting the official Spanish-language 2026 FinTalk Awards page.

For business leaders and technology professionals, the FinTalk Awards highlight the increasing influence of digital platforms in financial education and the growing Hispanic market. As financial institutions and fintech companies seek to engage diverse audiences, creators who can effectively communicate complex financial concepts in Spanish are becoming valuable partners. The recognition also signals the importance of culturally relevant content in building trust and driving financial literacy, which can lead to better financial outcomes for millions of Hispanic consumers. Debt.com, the website where people can find help with credit card debt, student loans, tax debt, credit repair, bankruptcy, and more, works with certified providers that offer trusted advice and solutions to help consumers be prepared “when life happens.”
