The Exit Planning Institute (EPI), a leading authority on exit planning for advisors, business consultants, and business owners, announced the launch of the "Exit Is Now: Walking to Destiny" podcast. Hosted by EPI Chairman Christopher M. Snider and his son, EPI President Scott Snider, the podcast aims to expand on the principles of the Value Acceleration Methodology™, originally introduced in Snider's 2016 book of the same name.
The podcast will feature deep dives into the book's concepts, helping business owners, advisors, and value creators transform theoretical frameworks into actionable strategies. Each episode is designed to assist listeners in maximizing value, growing income, and building a business capable of operating independently of its owner. The first episode, airing July 15, will discuss the history of the exit planning profession and EPI, followed by episodes covering business owner mindset, value creation strategies, leadership principles, the Four Intangible Capitals, the Three Legs of the Stool, the Two Concurrent Paths, and practical approaches to building, protecting, harvesting, and managing wealth.
"When I wrote my book in 2016, I set out with the goal of helping business owners and their advisors recognize their potential and harvest the wealth locked inside their businesses," said Chris Snider. "Now, ten years later, I am excited to expand on the framework presented in the book and educate the next generation of exit planning advisors."
The podcast will publish new episodes biweekly, blending personal stories, professional insights, and actionable lessons. Listeners can subscribe starting July 15 at the Exit Is Now podcast.
This initiative underscores EPI's commitment to providing resources for business owners and advisors. The institute, founded in 2005, offers the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) credential program, the most widely endorsed professional exit planning program globally. The podcast extends EPI's educational reach, potentially impacting how advisors engage clients and how owners approach business succession.
For business leaders, the podcast offers a chance to gain insights directly from an industry pioneer, helping them navigate complex exit strategies. Advisors can learn to better serve clients by applying the Value Acceleration Methodology, which focuses on increasing business value before a sale. The emphasis on building a business that can run without its owner is particularly relevant in today's market, where many owners seek liquidity or retirement.
By making these concepts accessible through a biweekly audio format, EPI aims to reach a broader audience and foster a new generation of advisors skilled in exit planning. The podcast's launch comes at a time when many business owners are considering their options amid economic shifts, making timely guidance critical.
