Generation Uranium Finalizes MMT Survey on Yath Project, Targeting Key Uranium Structures in Nunavut

Generation Uranium Inc. (TSX.V: GEN, OTCQB: GENRF, FRA: W85) announced it will conduct a final Mobile Magnetotelluric (MMT) survey over the central and western portions of its Yath Project in Nunavut's Kivalliq region during July. The survey, operated by Expert Geophysics Ltd., aims to cover a gap in existing MMT coverage and improve understanding of geological structures critical for uranium exploration.

The Central Gap Zone, a key target area, is important for interpreting the geological trend projecting northwest from the LAC 50 Uranium Deposit, located south of the Yath project on Atha Energy's ground. According to the company, this zone also encompasses several northeast-trending structures linked to known uranium mineralization at BOG, MP-25, Amy's OC, and Lucky Break. On the west side, the VGR-NORM trend presents an extensive, deep-seated, clay-altered and uranium-mineralized structure that remains poorly understood.

MMT surveys targeting unconformity-style uranium systems focus on three key elements: graphitic conductor fault zones, hydrothermal alteration halos, and deep structural controls. Integration of conductive and resistive MMT corridors with historic mapping and sampling has narrowed the footprint of known targets and improved understanding of structural orientations beneath overburden, constraining targets from hundreds of metres to tens of metres wide.

CEO Michael Collins stated: 'Generation Uranium is pleased to see the final MMT package being flown through the middle and west side of the Yath Project. We view this as a critical piece of the puzzle that will illuminate how the North-East and North-West structures interact as they converge in the center of the Yath claims, and a better understanding of structures on the VGR clay altered zones.'

The announcement comes amid a strong uranium market. According to a sector report cited by Generation, spot uranium prices surpassed US$100/lb in early 2026, driven by a widening structural supply deficit and accelerating demand from AI-powered data centers, as well as nuclear capacity expansion in China, India, and the United States. A report by Shaw and Partners forecasts a potential multi-year price spike toward US$200/lb, highlighting tightening fuel contracting cycles and persistent supply shortfalls. Global nuclear capacity consumes about 180 million pounds of U3O8 annually against mine production of only 150 Mlb, with the World Nuclear Association projecting annual consumption could reach 390 Mlb by 2040.

Shaw and Partners' modelling indicates new mine supply requirements this decade could exceed 350 Mlb, and structural supply deficits could surpass 200 Mlb per year unless new large-scale uranium projects are brought into production. This environment strengthens the outlook for exploration-stage companies like Generation Uranium, which is advancing the Yath Project in the Angilak district, one of Canada's most active uranium camps.

The company also announced the grant of incentive stock options to officers and consultants to purchase up to 500,000 common shares at $0.08 for two years, and a correction to a finder fee in a previous news release, issuing an additional $1,500 and 21,429 finder warrants at $0.12 for two years.

Michael Collins, P. Geo., President, CEO, and Director of Generation Uranium, and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information in this release. The Yath Project has historic surface samples up to 9.8% U3O8 and drill results of 1.0 m at 0.224% U3O8 from 25.5 m in drillhole BOG-8-80. Mineralization on adjacent properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization on Generation's property.
