Award-winning author Gina Iafrate has released her latest romantic fiction novel, 'Love And Betrayal,' now available in print and ebook formats on Amazon. The novel is the third installment in her Strong Women series, following 'The Professor's Daughter.'
'Love And Betrayal' follows the emotional journey of Gracy, who initially believes she has found true love with Alvaro. However, as her married life progresses, Alvaro's vows of fidelity are broken, leading to pain and suffering. His unfaithfulness, driven by greed, jealousy, and revenge from external influences, brings catastrophic consequences. Gracy's struggle for survival becomes a challenging emotional odyssey. Later in life, faced with solitude and despair, she finds courage through the intervention of caring people, ultimately rediscovering love, peace, and support before her journey ends.
The series' previous book, 'The Professor's Daughter,' is set in Italy and follows Gracy Robertson, the love child of an intense affair. Taken from her dying mother at birth, she is raised in hiding by her devastated father, a professor, to avoid corrupt mobsters who caused her mother's death. After the threat subsides, they seek peace at the place where her parents' love conceived her. But tragedy strikes again when the professor dies, leaving Gracy grief-stricken. She crosses the ocean to find love, but fate tests her with people and situations that threaten her peace and life, until she finds solace in her denied lover's devotion.
