The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) concluded its Fashion Hong Kong promotion in Paris on June 28, the final day of Paris Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027. The event marked the first cross-sector collaboration between the HKTDC and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl), combining creative promotion with logistics expertise to support Hong Kong brands in expanding globally.

Held at the iconic Rue de la Paix, the showroom featured Hong Kong designer brands presenting their Spring/Summer 2027 collections, including apparel and accessories. The event attracted buyers, media, and industry professionals from Europe and beyond, facilitating business matching and partnership discussions. Notably, designers MARCCH and Matter Matters unveiled pieces created in collaboration with Paris-based artist Yaz Bukey, underscoring the creative exchange between Hong Kong and French designers.

A networking reception on June 27 drew over 200 fashion professionals, providing opportunities for Hong Kong designers to expand their international networks. A subsequent “Hong Kong Fashion Night dinner” further strengthened connections, laying groundwork for overseas market expansion.

This collaboration is significant as it represents a strategic alliance between Hong Kong’s trade promotion body and a leader in air cargo logistics and sustainability. Hactl’s expertise in speed, connectivity, and eco-friendly practices aligns with global fashion industry trends. Together with HKTDC’s global network, the partnership empowers Hong Kong brands to integrate creativity, commerce, and professional services while responding to sustainability expectations.
