IVU Traffic Technologies AG, a leading provider of software and IT solutions for bus and rail companies, is enhancing its investor relations efforts by accelerating financial reporting and introducing new communication formats. The company also raised its full-year 2026 earnings outlook based on strong preliminary results for the first half of the year.
In an ad hoc announcement on July 20, 2026, IVU reported that its operating profit (EBIT) rose to EUR 3.3 million in the first half of 2026, up from EUR 1.0 million in the same period last year. This growth is attributed to an increase in recurring revenue and the initial success of efficiency-boosting measures. As a result, the Executive Board now expects an operating profit of approximately EUR 22 million for the full year 2026, up from the previous forecast of EUR 20 million. The outlook for consolidated revenue remains over EUR 160 million, with gross profit expected at approximately EUR 130 million.
Starting in the third quarter of 2026, IVU will streamline its fast-close processes, allowing it to move up reporting dates by about two weeks. The results for the first nine months of 2026 will be published on November 5, 2026, instead of the previously scheduled date. All reports will be available on the company’s investor relations website at https://www.ivu.com/en/investors/financial-reports.
Additionally, IVU will introduce interim analyst conference calls as standard practice starting in Q3 2026, giving investors and analysts the opportunity to discuss earnings performance with the Executive Board in English. The company plans to offer further in-person and digital communication formats, with details to be announced later.
“We have demonstrated in recent years that our business model is viable and scalable. The preliminary figures for the first half of 2026 and the resulting upward revision of our full-year outlook strongly underscore this. Now is the time to make this strength even more visible on the capital markets - with greater transparency, more dialogue, and greater consistency in our communications,” said Petra Meiser, CFO of IVU Traffic Technologies AG.
For business leaders and technology investors, these developments signal that IVU is not only improving its financial performance but also committing to clearer, more timely communication with the market. The accelerated reporting and new analyst calls reduce information asymmetry, potentially increasing investor confidence and stock liquidity. In the broader public transport technology sector, IVU’s success in boosting recurring revenue and efficiency could serve as a benchmark for other firms, highlighting the value of scalable software solutions.
IVU Traffic Technologies AG is listed on the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN DE0007448508). The company plans to publish its final half-year report on August 27, 2026.
