LiverRight and Aegle Medical Solutions, LLC have formed a strategic partnership to expand access to non-invasive liver assessment, specialist interpretation, diagnosis, and ongoing liver care for patients across the United States. The collaboration, announced today, brings together Aegle Medical's advanced liver assessment technology and implementation support with LiverRight's national virtual liver clinic, which provides specialist interpretation and access to hepatology clinicians.
The partnership is designed to help physicians and healthcare organizations establish or expand comprehensive liver disease programs without building every component internally. Aegle Medical provides a consultative approach to technology evaluation, implementation, training, and ongoing support, including the Mindray Hepatus-Series Transient Elastography Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems. LiverRight offers same-day interpretation services for liver elastography studies and same-week virtual access to its hepatology clinicians. Its Liververse™ referral system coordinates bloodwork, patient-reported outcomes, available imaging, diagnosis, and longitudinal disease management.

The technology at the center of the partnership, the Mindray Hepatus, introduces Visualized Transient Elastography (ViTE), which integrates real-time B-mode ultrasound visualization directly into the elastography examination. This allows operators to see liver anatomy, identify the optimal measurement location, and visually guide each acquisition while obtaining quantitative liver stiffness and attenuation measurements. The Hepatus platform provides liver stiffness measurement (LSM) for fibrosis assessment and Liver UltraSound Attenuation (LiSA) for quantitative assessment of hepatic steatosis. The Hepatus 6 further expands capabilities with diagnostic ultrasound imaging for abdominal imaging, Doppler, spleen stiffness assessment, and intestinal ultrasound.
