Loulou Lollipop, a Certified B Corporation known for premium baby essentials, has expanded its Big Dreams sleep collection with the launch of the Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap. Available now on LoulouLollipop.com and LoulouLollipop.ca, this new product addresses a common parenting frustration: keeping a baby's arms swaddled throughout the night. The wrap is also a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence from the Baby Safety Alliance, with public voting open until September 13, 2026.
Company co-founder Angel Kho developed the swaddle after her first daughter repeatedly wiggled an arm free during the night, waking herself up. "She always managed to wiggle one arm out — even through the zipper opening — and she'd wake herself up in the middle of the night," Kho said. "I even tried elastic bands around the shoulders just to keep her arms in. Looking back, it's almost comical. At the time, I was completely exhausted."
The Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap features a soft, silent, and secure closure that wraps around the baby's torso, providing gentle tension and womb-like comfort while allowing the legs to move freely, similar to a traditional sleep bag. This design extends the Big Dreams sleep collection, which already includes the Sleep Bag that won a 2025 Good Housekeeping Parenting Award, back to the newborn stage.
Safety is a key focus for the product. The swaddle wrap is a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence, a distinction that underscores its commitment to safe sleep practices. The winner is determined by public vote, giving parents a direct say in recognizing products that prioritize infant safety. Voting is open until September 13, 2026, at https://www.babysafetyalliance.org/page/parents-pick.
In terms of materials, the swaddle wrap is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric, which is derived from wood pulp and is known for being buttery-soft and breathable. This helps regulate body temperature for babies who cannot yet regulate it themselves. The insulation blends 30% TENCEL™ Lyocell with 70% DuPont™ Sorona®, a fiber that contains 37% plant-based content derived from corn, reducing reliance on conventional polyester. Additionally, the product is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning every component has been tested for harmful substances.
Kho emphasized the product's durability and design. "I truly believe this is a product you'll only need to buy once," she said. "We spent years getting the details right. It's the swaddle we would have wanted for our own babies."
The launch comes at a time when parents are increasingly seeking products that combine safety, sustainability, and functionality. By addressing a common swaddling challenge with a versatile, breathable design, Loulou Lollipop aims to provide a solution that supports better sleep for both babies and parents. The swaddle wrap is available in three popular prints, with more options planned for the future.
For industry watchers, this introduction highlights a growing trend in baby products: integrating safety certifications with eco-friendly materials to meet consumer demand for responsible manufacturing. The Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap not only offers a practical solution but also reflects a broader shift toward sustainable, health-conscious parenting products.
