MAX Power to Present Canada's First Natural Hydrogen Discovery at IMAGE '26

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) announced that its President and Director, Chad Levesque, will present at IMAGE '26 – International Meeting for Applied Geoscience & Energy on Aug. 19 in Houston. The presentation will provide an overview of Canada's first confirmed Natural Hydrogen system at the Lawson Complex in south-central Saskatchewan, along with ongoing drilling aimed at delineating what the company describes as the world's first large-scale commercial discovery of a new primary energy source.

The Lawson Complex is advancing through a multi-well commercial validation program designed to define the system's scale, continuity, reservoir characteristics, and commercial potential. The first well in the program, Lawson 2, encountered approximately 860 meters of continuous elevated Natural Hydrogen readings, including the highest readings recorded to date at Lawson, while providing evidence of an enhanced fracture system within the Precambrian basement complex. Drilling has since advanced to Lawson 3, which is positioned to provide a third data point as MAX Power works to better understand the deposit's potential volume.

This presentation is significant for the energy industry as natural hydrogen, also known as white or gold hydrogen, is generated naturally in the Earth's crust and could offer a low-carbon, renewable energy source. If commercially developed, it could transform the global energy landscape, providing a new primary energy source that produces no carbon emissions when used. The implications are vast, potentially reducing dependence on fossil fuels and contributing to global decarbonization efforts.

For business leaders, this development underscores the growing interest in alternative energy sources and the potential for new markets. Companies that position themselves early in the natural hydrogen space could gain a competitive advantage, similar to early movers in renewable energy. Additionally, the success of the Lawson project could encourage further exploration and investment in natural hydrogen across Canada and worldwide.

MAX Power is an innovative mineral and energy exploration company focused on the shift to decarbonization. The company's Lawson Discovery near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, represents Canada's first-ever subsurface Natural Hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling with data validated by three independent labs. MAX Power has built dominant district-scale land positions across Saskatchewan with approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits covering prime exploration ground prospective for large-volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen.

Beyond its hydrogen projects, MAX Power holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals. These properties are highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, which is 100%-owned by MAX Power's U.S. subsidiary. MAX Power is committed to responsible exploration and development practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, meaningful community engagement, and strong corporate governance.

The presentation at IMAGE '26 will be a key opportunity for industry professionals to learn about the latest developments in natural hydrogen exploration and its potential impact on the energy sector. With the global push for cleaner energy sources, the commercialization of natural hydrogen could be a game-changer, offering a reliable and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional energy sources.
