McEwen Files Technical Reports for Ontario and Nevada Gold Projects, Highlighting Robust Economics at Higher Gold Prices

McEwen Inc. (NYSE: MUX) (TSX: MUX) announced it has filed NI 43-101 technical reports on SEDAR+ for its Grey Fox Project in Ontario and the Lookout Mountain and Windfall deposits in Nevada, supporting previously released prefeasibility and mineral resource estimates. The filings provide updated details on the company's gold project portfolio, which is part of McEwen's strategy to grow its gold and silver production base.

The Grey Fox report outlines a 15-year mine life with probable mineral reserves of 980,300 contained gold ounces. The project's post-tax net present value is estimated at $282 million at a $3,000-per-ounce gold price, increasing to $841 million at $4,500 gold. This significant sensitivity to gold prices highlights the potential upside for investors if gold prices continue to rise. The Grey Fox project is located in the Timmins district of Ontario, a prolific gold mining region.

For the Lookout Mountain and Windfall deposits in Nevada, the technical report confirms combined indicated mineral resources of 629,800 gold ounces and inferred resources of 262,000 gold ounces. Most of these contained ounces occur in oxide mineralization, which is considered potentially amenable to heap-leach processing, a lower-cost extraction method. The Nevada deposits are located in the Cortez Trend, another world-class gold district.

The reports are available through the company's SEDAR+ filings and support previously announced project results. McEwen also holds a 46.3% interest in McEwen Copper, which owns the advanced-stage Los Azules copper project in Argentina. According to the last financing for McEwen Copper, the implied value of McEwen's ownership interest is US$456 million (US$7.67 per share). The Los Azules project is designed to be one of the world's first regenerative copper mines and aims to be carbon neutral by 2038.

McEwen recently purchased 27.3% of Paragon Advanced Labs Inc., a company deploying PhotonAssay units globally, a technology that McEwen believes could become the new industry standard for assaying precious and base metals. Chairman and Chief Owner Rob McEwen has invested over US$250 million personally and takes a salary of $1 per year, aligning his interests with shareholders. He is a recipient of the Order of Canada and a member of the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame.

The technical report filings provide transparency and allow investors to assess the projects' economics. For leaders in business and technology, the reports underscore the importance of resource estimation and project economics in the mining sector. The strong economics at higher gold prices could make McEwen an attractive investment if gold prices remain elevated. The company's focus on low-cost heap-leach processing in Nevada and long mine life in Ontario may offer resilience in various market conditions.

McEwen shares trade on both the NYSE and TSX under the ticker MUX. The company's diversified asset base, including gold, silver, and copper, provides exposure to multiple commodities. The technical report filings for the Grey Fox, Lookout Mountain, and Windfall projects are a step forward in advancing these assets toward production.
