MediKeeper, a leader in corporate health management, has announced that its Chief Health and Strategy Officer, Dr. Tyler Amell, will be a featured speaker at several major health and employee benefits conferences across North America and Europe. The tour begins Aug. 25 in Scottsdale, Arizona, and continues through Halifax, Nova Scotia; Edinburgh, Scotland; and concludes in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Amell, an internationally recognized expert in workplace health and productivity, will deliver keynotes, workshops, and breakout sessions aimed at providing unbiased, outcome-based information to guide employee health and wellness programming. “There is so much good evidence out there, and such critical need for unbiased, outcome-based information to help guide employee health and wellness programming, that I am pleased to play a small role in the conference education experience of so many people,” he said.
On Aug. 26, Dr. Amell will give a keynote at the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS) Symposium in Scottsdale, where he will discuss workplace health as a strategic imperative for organizations. The symposium, held Aug. 23-26, convenes credentialed benefits professionals from across North America.
Following Scottsdale, Dr. Amell will head to Halifax for the 59th annual Canadian Employee Benefits Conference (Aug. 30-Sept. 2), where he will present an in-depth workshop on “living your best retirement from a preventive health perspective.” This conference provides comprehensive education for pension and benefit professionals.
He will then travel to Edinburgh, Scotland, for the International Forum on Disability Management (IFDM) on Sept. 22-23. There, he will deliver a keynote on modern integrated strategies for success in workplace health and productivity, work disability, and return to work. The IFDM connects international colleagues on workplace disability, health, and wellness issues, supporting cross-border peer learning.
Dr. Amell will conclude his fall tour in New Orleans at the 72nd annual Employee Benefits Conference (Oct. 25-28), where he will address causes of worker burnout, the role of mental health initiatives, low-cost considerations, and best practices for implementation. This flagship event helps attendees gain tools and insights to make informed decisions about employee health benefits, retirement, benefits administration, pensions, and investments.
Dr. Amell serves on the executive board of directors of the Wellness Alliance and is on faculty at Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences. His engagements reflect MediKeeper’s 20-year commitment to revolutionizing corporate health through product innovation and thought leadership.
“Since our inception in 2004, MediKeeper has been at the forefront of empowering employers, benefits providers, health plans, and wellness companies with cutting-edge solutions to efficiently manage corporate health,” said David Ashworth, CEO of MediKeeper. “Our success is a testament to the trust and collaboration of our valued clients, as well as the hard work, dedication, and passion of both our team and strategic partners.”
These presentations are particularly timely as organizations grapple with rising health costs, mental health challenges, and the need for effective return-to-work strategies. By sharing evidence-based practices, Dr. Amell aims to help employers and benefits professionals improve workforce health and productivity, which can lead to reduced absenteeism, increased engagement, and better overall business outcomes.
