Women in the Fair Oaks Ranch and Boerne, Texas area will no longer need to drive 45 minutes to San Antonio to find contemporary designer clothing. Monkee's of Fair Oaks Ranch, a locally owned women's boutique, will hold its grand opening on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 10 a.m. The store is located in the Lemon Creek Ranch development, a growing corridor anchored by H-E-B with direct access off I-10.
Owner Kelli Hull, a veteran, spent a year transforming a cold, dark concrete shell into a fully built-out boutique stocked with national designer brands. The opening addresses a frustration Hull heard from many local women: the lack of nearby options for contemporary fashion. 'I kept hearing from other women that they had the same frustrations I did,' Hull said. 'On Thursday, that changes.'
The grand opening festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and confetti pop, followed by doors opening to the public at 10 a.m. The roughly 1,200-square-foot boutique offers an assortment curated by Hull during buying trips to New York City showrooms. Featured brands include Paige denim, FRAME, Milly, Shoshanna, Marie Oliver, and Aviator Nation. The timing of the opening is intentional, landing just before the new school year. The first 100 purchases on opening day will receive a special gift, and throughout the weekend (Thursday through Saturday), guests can enjoy champagne, light bites, and giveaways from local partners.
Hull is already planning for the future, with new brands set to arrive in January 2027, including Tecovas, Hunter Bell, AGL, and the New Braunfels-based label Sunshine Tienda. Trunk shows are planned for the grand opening weekend, offering exclusive access to expanded collections.
More than just a store, Monkee's of Fair Oaks Ranch aims to provide an elevated, experiential shopping experience. 'People are a little bit frustrated with a lack of customer service, not only in retail but in industries at large,' Hull said. 'We want every single person who comes in to feel a very elevated, experiential shopping experience.' Services include personal styling, private after-hours events, and Sunday appointments for busy customers. Hull also made a promise: 'It is my solemn vow that I'll never let anyone leave Monkee's of Fair Oaks Ranch in something that doesn't look phenomenal on them.'
The boutique is veteran-owned and operated, a distinction Hull emphasizes. 'Supporting the military community is something you'll continue to see us do for years to come,' she said. The Lemon Creek Ranch location was chosen for its long-term promise and convenience, with easy access and parking right out front. 'You can drive right up to the store, park and walk in,' Hull said. 'Lemon Creek Ranch is great where it's at now, but it's only going to continue to get better.'
