Onco-Innovations Limited (CBOE CA: ONCO) (OTCQB: ONNVF) (Frankfurt: W1H) announced the successful advancement of kilogram-scale manufacturing activities for the B4 precursor component used in the development of ONC010, the company’s lead nanoparticle-formulated Polynucleotide Kinase Phosphatase (PNKP) inhibitor technology. Conducted through its chemistry, manufacturing and controls collaboration with Dalton Pharma Services, the effort resulted in the production and isolation of approximately 952 grams of B4 material, supporting future formulation development, GMP production and planned clinical studies.
The company said the manufacturing milestone strengthens its integrated development strategy and supports the establishment of a scalable production process for future clinical supply. This progress is critical for advancing ONC010 toward clinical trials, as the ability to produce kilogram quantities of the precursor ensures a reliable supply chain for ongoing research and potential commercialization. The B4 precursor is a key component in the nanoparticle formulation that targets PNKP, an enzyme involved in DNA repair, making it a promising target for cancer therapy.
Onco-Innovations also announced the engagement of InvestorBrandNetwork (“IBN”) to provide market awareness, corporate communications and digital media services through Sept. 30, 2026, or until budget exhaustion. The company will pay IBN an aggregate cash fee of US$76,500 for the services and intends to apply an unused US$80,000 balance returned from a prior market awareness engagement toward the consideration.
The manufacturing milestone represents a significant step in the development of ONC010, which is based on patented technology exclusively licensed worldwide by Onco-Innovations. The technology targets solid tumours through innovative nanoparticle delivery of PNKP inhibitors. For leaders in the business and technology sectors, this advancement highlights the progress in precision oncology and the potential for novel therapies that address DNA repair mechanisms in cancer cells.
