q.beyond AG has launched a new offering called 'AI Act as a Service' to help companies navigate the regulatory requirements of the EU AI Act. The service enables managers responsible for AI to evaluate their AI systems, obtain an auditable assessment of AI-related risks, and access relevant documentation and verification. This aims to place AI applications on a safe regulatory footing, accelerating AI deployment and boosting productivity gains and value creation.
The EU AI Act, the world’s first legal framework for deploying artificial intelligence, is already in force and gradually taking binding effect. Key dates include August 2026 for most general requirements and December 2027 for high-risk AI systems. The regulation seeks to minimize risks to security, health, and basic rights while fostering innovation. Requirements depend on the potential risk of an AI application, not company size, and vary by sector and scenario.
AI Act as a Service provides companies of all sizes with an overview of regulatory risks from AI systems they use or plan to use. Many companies already deploy dozens of large language models (LLMs) and agents. The service can be booked online at q.beyond’s website without prior integration. A monthly subscription covers one or multiple accounts, and a free version allows basic assessment of EU AI Act requirements for an AI application.
“Companies can start directly with AI Act as a Service and promptly obtain an auditable risk assessment,” said Dr. Daniel Taradzic, Chief AI Officer at q.beyond AG. “This way, we are enabling companies to maximize their productivity gains from AI and automation while simultaneously minimizing their regulatory risks.” The service targets corporate decision-makers such as CIOs, compliance managers, and CISOs.
The service has already been adopted by customers during a trial phase. Ingo List, Managing Director of Antares Project GmbH, noted, “We were confronted with the same challenge that many companies face at the moment: We had several thousand active AI users but no assessment of the EU AI Act requirements. Thanks to AI Act as a Service, we no longer have this problem.”
q.beyond also advises companies on secure, data-protection-compliant AI deployment. Its 'Private Enterprise AI' platform offers a secure environment for processing sensitive company information. The company develops AI agents for sectors including retail, manufacturing, logistics, banking & insurance, healthcare, energy, and the public sector, operated as managed services to enhance business value for SME customers.
