Wacker Neuson CFO Christoph Burkhard to Step Down; Reinhard Frisch Named Successor

Wacker Neuson SE announced today that Christoph Burkhard, its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), will step down from the Executive Board by mutual agreement effective August 31, 2026, after more than five years of service. The company also named Reinhard Frisch, currently Commercial Managing Director of Wacker Neuson Produktion GmbH & Co. KG, as his successor, effective September 1, 2026.

Hans Neunteufel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, thanked Burkhard for his contributions, stating, "We would like to thank Mr. Burkhard for the excellent cooperation and for his valuable contributions to the sustainable development of the Company's structures and organization." Burkhard's tenure oversaw financial stewardship during a period of growth for the group, which reported revenue of approximately EUR 2.2 billion in fiscal year 2025.

Frisch, who has been with the Wacker Neuson Group since 2004, brings extensive international experience, including a previous role as CFO of Wacker Neuson North America. Neunteufel noted, "We are pleased that, with Mr. Frisch, we have been able to appoint an executive with extensive international experience from within our own organization to this important position." This internal promotion signals continuity in financial strategy and operational stability for the group, which employs around 5,800 people worldwide.

For business leaders and investors, the leadership change comes at a time when the construction equipment industry faces evolving demands in sustainability, digitalization, and supply chain resilience. The Wacker Neuson Group, known for its light and compact equipment under brands like Wacker Neuson, Kramer, Weidemann, and Enar, serves professional users in construction, agriculture, and municipal sectors. The CFO transition could influence the company's financial strategy, especially as it navigates market conditions and invests in innovation.

The company's shares are listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's Prime Standard segment and are part of the SDAX index. Investors may view the orderly succession as a positive sign of governance. For more information about the Wacker Neuson Group, including press images, visit their press page.
