Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) has provided a corporate and exploration update, highlighting its rapid assembly of a portfolio of past-producing tungsten assets in the United States and its shift toward disciplined execution. Since the end of 2025, the company has built a portfolio of three active U.S. tungsten projects across Nevada and New Mexico, expanded the Rowland Tungsten Property by approximately 170%, acquired the adjacent White Star Tungsten Project, and secured a 100% interest in the Eagle Point Tungsten Project in New Mexico. These moves have created a significant exploration footprint, including an approximately six-kilometre prospective corridor in Nevada.
Western Star has also commenced modern systematic exploration programs, including high-resolution UAV magnetic geophysical work and extensive surface exploration. At Rowland, the company identified an approximately one-kilometre tungsten-skarn geochemical corridor, with a peak soil result of approximately 1,425 ppm WO(3) (0.14% WO(3)). Drill permitting activities have begun at Rowland, and the company has engaged Dahrouge Geological Consulting to assist with evaluation and future exploration across its tungsten assets.
The company's focus now turns to Eagle Point, a key asset with historical production of approximately 1,800 tons of scheelite-bearing material and historical U.S. Government estimates outlining significant near-surface tungsten mineralization. Modern USGS sampling returned up to 27.6% WO(3) and 0.98% molybdenum, with eight historically mapped skarn bodies. Despite extensive surface work, the system received very limited historical drilling. A U.S. Government-supported exploration program planned in the 1950s, which included underground development and diamond drilling, was never executed, leaving many targets untested.
Western Star's objective at Eagle Point is to systematically test the historically identified mineralization using modern exploration and drilling. If supported by sufficient geological and analytical data, the company aims to advance Eagle Point toward a maiden mineral resource estimate in accordance with NI 43-101. The planned 2026 drill program, subject to permitting and other considerations, is designed to test principal mineralized zones, investigate grade and geological continuity, and evaluate extensions along strike and at depth. The company also intends to test additional targets generated through modern exploration.

With Rowland advancing toward drilling, White Star undergoing its first integrated exploration program, and Eagle Point being prepared for a maiden drill campaign, Western Star intends to advance its U.S. tungsten portfolio in a disciplined manner through 2026. The company's objective is to discover and define meaningful domestic tungsten resources capable of contributing to a secure North American critical-mineral supply chain.
The company recently closed an oversubscribed private placement of approximately C$3.69 million, strengthening its balance sheet. It also submitted an application in response to a U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium solicitation relating to reliable supplies of strategic critical minerals, positioning itself within U.S. critical-mineral supply priorities.
