The 26th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) is set to take place in Dubai from October 1-3, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), this year's event will see participation from over 2,800 companies across 65 countries, including 21 international pavilions, marking a significant milestone in its global importance.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX, highlighted the exhibition's growing stature as a must-attend event for organizations worldwide. Among the international participants, the Water Purification And Treatment Association of Gujarat (WAPTAG) from India reports a 50% increase in member participation, signaling stronger UAE-India ties in water treatment. Belgium's pavilion will feature six companies specializing in water treatment, processors, IT, and green hydrogen, contributing to global climate change efforts. Italy's pavilion, organized by the Italian Trade Agency, underscores the country's commitment to sustainable innovation, while Belarus makes its debut, aiming to foster future cooperation and projects.
