The CIRC, scheduled for August 8 to 11 in Drumheller, Alberta, is organized by the Canadian Space Technology Advancement Group (CSTAG) and is renowned for its challenging tasks that simulate the harsh conditions of Mars. Participants will face rigorous challenges, including navigation and sample collection, with a special nighttime rover task known as the 'Traversal.' ProtoSpace Mfg's involvement includes offering each team $2,000 USD in manufacturing credit and providing precision-manufactured equipment for the competition's Arm Dexterity challenge, alongside on-site technical guidance from their staff.
