The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) has announced the appointment of Timothy Applegate as its Board Chair for the 2026 program year, starting July 1, 2025. Applegate, a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force and a distinguished member of the Senior Executive Service, brings a wealth of experience to the role, including overseeing an acquisition portfolio exceeding $20 billion as Director of the Acquisition Management and Integration Center at Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC).
Applegate's long-standing commitment to NCMA, evidenced by his membership since 1992, his certification as a Professional Contract Manager™ (CPCM™), and his previous roles as Board Member and Advisor, positions him as a pivotal figure in the association's future.
