Elizabeth Graham, a bestselling author with expertise on U.S.-Russia relations, predicts that the release of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents will lead to Donald Trump's political downfall in 2026. Congress passed the Epstein Bill H.R. 4405 with overwhelming bipartisan support, demanding the Department of Justice release all unredacted Epstein files by December 19, 2025. However, according to Graham, Attorney General Pam Bondi released only 1% of the files, most heavily redacted, which she describes as a violation of law. Graham notes that sex offender laws established in the late 1990s and early 2000s created strict guidelines for offenses involving minors, with the law firm of Keegan, Tindal & Jaeger stating that two or more felony-level sexually predatory offenses can result in life imprisonment. Nationwide social marketing campaigns have shifted public perception, making pedophiles "the worst of the worst" in society.
Trump's connection to Epstein has been documented in media reports, including The Washington Post's July 8, 2018 article describing Trump as Epstein's "best friend" who commented that Epstein "likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side." Graham references The Miami Herald's January 16, 2020 report that Epstein trafficked girls as young as 12.
If Congress releases the Epstein files and finds incriminating evidence, Graham argues Trump could face impeachment, losing presidential immunity and potentially facing conviction for crimes including sex offenses and treason. Trump is already legally labeled a sexual predator due to the E. Jean Carroll trial, and twenty-eight women have reported sexual attacks, including one who was thirteen years old at the time of alleged abuse.
Graham identifies four factors influencing Trump's potential downfall: evidence in Epstein files regarding underage prostitution at Moscow's "Beverly Hills" casino; Jack Smith's reported testimony to Congress about Trump's responsibility for the January 6 Capitol insurrection; allegations that Trump, Elon Musk, and Marco Rubio committed "crimes against humanity" by closing USAID, potentially causing millions of deaths in Africa according to The Lancet's June 30, 2025 report; and Trump's alleged "crime of aggression" against Venezuela involving kidnapping the country's president and seeking oil profits.
