WebCE announced a strategic partnership with Invest to become the non-profit's preferred national provider of insurance pre-licensing education in high schools and community colleges. The collaboration will provide thousands of students with direct access to license exam preparation, reducing barriers to entry for aspiring insurance professionals. This initiative comes at a critical time as a large portion of the insurance workforce approaches retirement, creating an urgent need to bridge the gap between retiring expertise and new professionals.
Invest, a 501(c)(3) educational trust administered by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, has worked to educate students about insurance, financial services, and risk management while cultivating talent for the industry. The partnership will extend WebCE's industry-leading pre-licensing coursework across Invest's nationwide network of schools. Tabitha Richardson, WebCE's Director of Product and Market Development for Financial Services, stated that providing students with the same caliber of education used by top insurance professionals ensures the industry's next generation is ready for market complexities.
Invest students will now have access to WebCE's complete pre-licensing library, including Life & Health, Property & Casualty, and Personal Lines courses. The platform features WiseBot AI, giving students real-time answers through Chat Tutor, and an Exam Readiness Score that analyzes course activity to assess preparation. Digital support is paired with Study Guide Workbooks and My Study Planner to create personalized, self-directed study plans. Exam Tutor bolsters performance with unlimited state exam simulations and custom practice tests, while EXCEED reinforcements provide short microlearning videos that boost retention with practical, real-world applications.
Whitnee Dillard, Executive Director of Invest, emphasized that this partnership will help provide more students with direct access to pre-licensing education regardless of geographic location. By removing these barriers, the collaboration accelerates pathways into the insurance industry for the next generation of leaders. The initiative builds on Invest's extensive educational network, which serves students through classroom instruction and competitive business programs. WebCE's insurance pre-licensing will now extend throughout Invest's footprint, ensuring students across the country have access to resources needed to enter and thrive in the industry.
The partnership represents a significant step in addressing the insurance industry's demographic challenges while leveraging educational technology to prepare future professionals. For business and technology leaders, this collaboration demonstrates how strategic partnerships between educational providers and industry organizations can create sustainable talent pipelines. The integration of AI-powered tools like WiseBot AI and adaptive learning platforms shows how technology is transforming professional education and career preparation. As industries face similar workforce transitions, this model may serve as a blueprint for addressing talent shortages through accessible, technology-enhanced education pathways.
