Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. has executed a Memorandum of Understanding with Terma A/S, Denmark's largest defense technology company, establishing a framework for future cooperation focused on integrating radar systems with autonomous communications platforms. The agreement outlines joint intent to identify commercial opportunities, assess technical feasibility, and collaborate on demonstrations of an integrated capability for European defense and security stakeholders.
The collaboration centers on integrating Terma's radar systems into CiTech's Self-Deploying Communications Platform, known as the Nexus platform, to explore combined defense and security applications across international markets. Areas of collaboration include exploring commercial opportunities and operational use cases enabled by a combined solution, assessing technical and operational feasibility of integration, and planning joint demonstrations at key European defense exhibitions.
Brenton Scott, Chief Executive Officer of CiTech, stated that this collaboration creates the opportunity to combine Terma's proven radar technology with CiTech's rapidly deployable autonomous communications platform. Together, the companies aim to demonstrate an integrated solution that supports defense and security operations in demanding environments. The partnership includes planned demonstrations at several European defense exhibitions throughout 2026, beginning with DAIMEX BALTIC 2026 in Lithuania from May 12-14, followed by the International Drone Summit in Riga on May 27, and concluding with the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Poland from September 8-11. These demonstrations will showcase the integrated capability across the European Union, subject to mutual agreement between the companies.
CiTech's Nexus platform addresses two significant limitations of current rapidly deployable communication solutions: strength of the tower and ability to rapidly self-deploy and operate in numerous situations. The platform is designed to support radio equipment including LTE and several other technological payloads, such as surveillance and anti-drone systems. Terma, with operations across Europe, Asia, and the United States, develops mission-critical products, systems, and services for defense, aerospace, and security applications, including radar systems, command and control solutions, space technology, and electronic warfare.
