Lamaj brings a distinctive perspective to his new role, having previously represented municipal entities and property owners in land use and municipal law matters. His experience includes appeals of planning and zoning commission decisions, zoning board of appeals rulings, and zoning enforcement actions. This background directly informs his transactional work, where issues such as nonconforming use, variances, and pending applications often influence a property's marketability.

Lamaj graduated cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was recognized for Excellence in Clinical Education. During law school, he interned at the State of Connecticut Office of the Attorney General, representing the Connecticut Department of Labor in unemployment compensation appeals and bringing civil penalty actions against employers for wage violations.
He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and currently serves as Membership Director of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. He is also a member of the Hartford County Bar Association. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Connecticut.
