Burrow & Associates, LLC, a Georgia-based law firm known for its personal injury and consumer bankruptcy practice, has announced the launch of the Burrow & Associates Road to Recovery Scholarship. The program will award $1,000 to one student to help cover tuition, books, and other academic expenses. The scholarship is open to students across the United States who are currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program, including community college students, high school seniors, and GED holders.
To apply, students must submit an essay of 1,000 words or less responding to three prompts about helping others through injury, illness, and hardship. In addition, applicants must provide a current resume and an unofficial transcript. All materials must be emailed to scholarships@legalatlanta.com by the application deadline of August 31, 2027. The scholarship recipient will be announced on October 1, 2027.
Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate a genuine commitment to helping others during difficult times. The award is intentionally open to students in any field of study, not just those pursuing legal careers. A qualifying applicant might care for a family member after an accident, volunteer with people healing from injury or illness, or help a neighbor get back on their feet after a hard year.
Founding attorney Darrell L. Burrow emphasized the firm's motivation: "After a serious injury, recovery depends on the people who step in to help, and we have seen firsthand how much that support matters for our own clients. This scholarship is our way of recognizing students who have taken real action to help others recover and rebuild, and who plan to keep doing that work long after they graduate."
Burrow & Associates has been assisting Georgia residents with serious legal matters since 1996. The firm handles personal injury and consumer bankruptcy cases from several offices across the Atlanta area. They have recovered millions of dollars across more than 10,000 personal injury settlements and built a reputation on treating clients with dignity, giving honest advice, and offering compassionate representation. This scholarship reflects the firm's ongoing commitment to the people and communities it serves.
For questions about the scholarship or application process, students should email burrowscholarship@legalatlanta.com. The office is unable to accept phone inquiries related to the scholarship.
