Importantly, essays generated by artificial intelligence or previously published are not eligible. The selection process does not include a minimum GPA requirement, prioritizing authenticity, leadership potential, personal reflection, and dedication to service.
Eligibility for the scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university as an undergraduate pursuing a pre-medical curriculum, biology, health sciences, or a related field, as well as those enrolled in an accredited U.S. Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) program. One recipient will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to support educational expenses associated with pursuing a medical career.
