The Supervisory Board of FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft, a provider of display technology and power supply solutions, has appointed Yannick Moyles-Johnson as Group Chief Financial Officer, effective no later than November 1, 2026. Moyles-Johnson succeeds Henrik Christiansen, who has served as interim CFO since November 2025 and as a Management Board member since February 2026. Christiansen will remain available to ensure a smooth transition.
Moyles-Johnson, who holds an MBA, brings more than 15 years of international leadership experience in technology-oriented industrial companies. He previously served as CFO and Commercial Managing Director of ProMik Holding GmbH, a portfolio company of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, and held leadership roles at Brockhaus Technologies AG, VIA Optronics AG, and the Brose Group. His expertise includes managing international research and production sites, optimizing financial and business processes, and implementing transformation and efficiency programs.
Christoph Schubert, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, stated: “With the appointment of 41-year-old Yannick Moyles-Johnson, FORTEC is bringing on board a leader who combines international cultural and management experience with a long-term vision for the Group’s future development. His more than 15 years of experience in technology-oriented industrial companies, as well as his track record of success in transformation and efficiency programs, make him the ideal candidate to lead the company’s next stages of development. Together with fellow board member Michael Spatny, he will focus on improving profitability, strengthening the market position, and tapping into additional growth opportunities, while driving the strategic development of the FORTEC Group forward.”
Moyles-Johnson commented: “I am very pleased to have been appointed to the Management Board of the publicly listed FORTEC Group. I view the innovative product portfolio, the company’s international presence, and the opportunities to both streamline the company’s operations and successfully implement its long-term growth strategy as an exciting challenge.”
The appointment marks a key step in FORTEC's long-term succession plan for the finance division. The company, founded in 1984 and based in Germering, Germany, operates as a holding company for subsidiaries in Germany, Switzerland, the UK, the USA, and the Netherlands. It specializes in standard and custom solutions for power supplies, embedded systems, and displays, and has been publicly listed since April 2020 (ISIN: DE0005774103).
For business leaders, this leadership change signals a renewed focus on operational efficiency and growth. Moyles-Johnson’s track record in transformation programs suggests potential streamlining of operations and improved profitability, which could strengthen FORTEC's competitive position in the display and power supply markets. The company's international presence and innovative portfolio position it well to capitalize on emerging opportunities in technology-driven industries.
The Supervisory Board thanked Henrik Christiansen for his successful work as interim CFO and Management Board member, noting that together with COO Michael Spatny, he initiated important measures to stabilize operations and restore the company's competitive strength.
