FORTEC Group Announces Key International Management Appointments to Drive Growth Strategy

FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft, a leading provider of display technology and power supply solutions, has announced a series of management appointments across its international subsidiaries. The moves are part of the company's broader reorganization and growth strategy, aimed at strengthening its second tier of management and devolving greater responsibility to regional operations.

In the Czech Republic, Martin Novak assumed the role of Managing Director of FORTEC CZ on June 1, 2026. He is tasked with overseeing the existing production facility in Dysina and managing the planned move to a new production site, as well as the expansion of operations. FORTEC CZ manufactures electronic assemblies and DC/DC converters, and also assembles displays with touchscreens. Novak brings over 20 years of international management experience in logistics, production, and the automotive sector, with expertise in process optimization and organizational development.

At FORTEC US, Paul Hooper took over as Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on July 1, 2026. Hooper previously served as Managing Director of Sales at FORTEC UK, where he successfully reorganized and developed the business. In his new role, he will focus on driving organic growth and expanding the company's market position in North America, working alongside co-Managing Director Scott Makboulian. With more than 30 years in the international electronics industry, Hooper brings extensive experience in market analysis, leadership, and sales.

Rhett Evans will succeed Paul Hooper at FORTEC UK effective September 8, 2026. Evans has over 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, with expertise in embedded computing, display technologies, and customized system solutions. His background in electronic engineering and sales management positions him well to lead the UK subsidiary.

Patrick von Unold will become Managing Director of FORTEC Integrated on October 1, 2026. FORTEC Integrated is an internationally active provider of display technology and embedded computing, and plays a key role in research and development within the FORTEC Group. Von Unold brings extensive international management experience in embedded electronics, display and touch technologies, and human-machine interfaces, with a background in medical technology, automation, and transport.

Michael Spatny, COO of FORTEC, commented on the appointments: "With the personnel decisions we have taken, we are implementing a key part of the FORTEC Group's new growth strategy. In doing so, we are strengthening the regional divisions and giving them greater scope to respond to the specific characteristics of their respective markets, whilst at the same time benefiting from the strength of an internationally active group."

These appointments reflect FORTEC's commitment to decentralizing management and empowering regional leaders. By placing experienced executives in key positions, the company aims to enhance its responsiveness to local market conditions and drive growth in key regions. The new leaders will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives, expanding market presence, and fostering innovation within their respective areas.

The impact of these changes is significant for FORTEC's global operations. The company, which has sites in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Czech Republic, and Egypt, is positioning itself to better serve its international customer base. The focus on regional autonomy is expected to lead to more agile decision-making and improved customer service, while still leveraging the resources and expertise of the broader group.

For industry observers, these appointments signal FORTEC's confidence in its growth trajectory and its commitment to strengthening its management team. The company's emphasis on experience and expertise in key markets suggests a strategic approach to navigating the evolving landscape of display technology and power supplies. As FORTEC continues to expand its capabilities and reach, these leadership changes will likely play a crucial role in shaping its future success.
